The Warm-up
I lay on the floor with the sun shining through the window, heating half of my body while the other half remains in shadow. I breathe and I stretch in the quiet of this old house. For now it is peaceful. As the day moves forward more energy will be invited in, bringing a new life to the walls of this place. Rolling and twisting I prepare my body to dance. My muscles are firing, my skin sweats and my heart beat races. My heart beats in the face of becoming a character who believes he has none.
