The Top 3 Things I’ve Learned from Beyoncé

Last week in Catalyst we finished a rehearsal by talking about our social media icon, and my personal obsession, Beyoncé. Here are the top three things that I can apply right now to help me pursue a dance career.

1.     Branding- We see what Beyoncé wants us to see. She floods the internet with pictures on her Instagram, Tumblr, and website so that we see what she has approved as opposed to what others are posting about her.

2.     Confidence- Although we may not always feel ***Flawless, Beyoncé inspires us to put ourselves out there and know that we are good enough to achieve what we want, as long as we are willing to work for it.

3.     Hard Work- Beyoncé is one of the hardest working people in the business and she does it all herself. She doesn’t rely on anyone else to manage her or hand her opportunities, if she wants something she goes for it.
